Swanpool Cinema is run by a Committee of Management with members being elected to the committee at our Annual General Meeting. The committee generally meets once a month on the first Tuesday of the month.
Would you like to go on our roster?
We call for volunteers throughout the season to help out at the Ticket Box, in the Candy Bar and with Projection. All volunteers must be financial members of the cinema for insurance purposes. All volunteers receive free entry, hot food and free beverages for themselves on the night they are rostered.
In addition to the regular roster we have a host of tasks where you could possibly assist – programming and ordering, publicity, mail-outs and distribution, shopping, making choc tops, technical assistance, rostering, accounting, flowers and posters, equipment maintenance and cleaning. It’s quite a list and your talents can be utilised.
Advertise your business or coming event on our big screen. As well as helping to support Swanpool Cinema your message will get out to the audience for 12 seconds at every screening evening and at programmed matinee events.

Contact us to arrange your big or small event at Swanpool Cinema. Swanpool Cinema can seat up to 240 patrons. We cater for private functions, bus groups, social clubs and businesses. You can see a scheduled film or two, some old black & white classics or a movie of your choice. We’ll tailor the occasion to suit the group. Food catering and liquor licences can also be arranged.
